Air New Zealand and United Airlines have dropped the price of their flights from Calgary to Auckland, New Zealand down to $793 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
There are fast flights available, with 1 stop each way, with good layover times (2 hours).

How to find and book these flights
1. Start with a Google Flights search like this one:
Google Flights: Calgary to Auckland, New Zealand
Click on the departure date box to open up the calendar view and browse for the cheap date combinations.
Look for the dates that are between $942 and $954 CAD roundtrip.

3. Search for a flight from Calgary to Auckland, New Zealand (AKL)
Try the same dates you found on Google Flights.
Here are some examples of the best flights I've seen. Air New Zealand would be preferred over United whenever possible.

You can also find some really great prices from Calgary to Christchurch and Wellington, New Zealand at the moment, for $874 to $880 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
1. Try this Google Flights search:
Google Flights: Calgary to Christchurch, New Zealand (CHC)
Google Flights: Calgary to Wellington, New Zealand (WLG)
Click on the departure date box to open up the calendar view and browse for cheap date combinations.
Look for the dates that are $915 to $949 roundtrip.
2. Go to Momondo
Search for a flight to the same destination and dates that you found on Google Flights.
NOTE: After your Momondo search completes, use the Max Flight Duration slider on the left, and slide it down to around 53. Otherwise, you may see some flights with ridiculously long travel times.
