Best time to visit Niagara Falls
Holidays to Niagara Falls are popular all year round, with the weather varying from beautifully hot and sunny in summer to a spectacular vision of ice and snow in winter. Highs in summer are around 25°C and in winter it can get below freezing.
While the summer is the busiest time of year, the warm temperatures allow visitors to embrace the full range of attractions and experience the falls in every way possible, from boat rides and zip lines to helicopter tours.
Spring boasts beautiful colours and autumn means harvest season at the wineries.
Winter is a lovely time to visit as the falls become dressed in snow and the Winter Festival of Lights comes to town, but the below-freezing temperatures mean that the summer boat tours do not operate. However, the likes of the spectacular Journey Behind the Falls and Skylon Tower are still waiting to be enjoyed.
