Every now and again over the last few years, Be Vancouver, a hotel marketing group, has come out with a promotion where you receive a $75 to $125 Amex Gift Card when you book a hotel room through their website.
It's a legitimate promo without any catches. The Amex Gift Card is yours to spend on whatever you'd like, including towards your stay at the hotel.
If you apply the gift card towards your hotel stay, it can work out to be a really great instant discount for a 1-night stay at the hotel.
There are many popular hotels to choose from. Below, I did a bit of a price analysis on what I felt were the best deals of the hotels being offered.
The price per night shown below is the total price, after taxes and fees, that the room could be booked for on the BE Vancouver website, after the gift card discount was factored in, based on a 1-night stay from February 8 to February 9.
Prices will obviously vary, depending on the dates selected.
The 'usual best' is the best price I could find, after taxes and fees, using a typical hotel search site, using the same dates.
