Calgary startup GoJumpOn is offering 20 seats on their Fri Nov 28 to Sun Nov 30 flight from Calgary to Vancouver for the Grey Cup weekend exclusively for YYC Deals fans at $199 roundtrip including taxes.
UPDATE: Oct 25 @ 9:55 AM - It looks like the 20 discounted fares have been sold.
For comparison, the cheapest direct flights available from the competition on the same weekend are currently priced at...

Already less than 50% cheaper than the competition, it becomes an even better deal once you factor in the ideal flight times. The GoJumpOn flights leave after work on Friday, and come home late in the evening on Sunday.
Flights with ideal times translate to higher demand, which usually means higher prices in the world of airfares. The cheapest 'after work on Friday, coming home late on Sunday' direct flights available from WestJet and Air Canada on the same weekend are currently running at $552 roundtrip (Air Canada).
With the Calgary Stampeders currently holding the best record in the league, this could definitely turn into an even more amazing deal should they make it to the final Sunday of the CFL schedule.
Or even if you have no interest in football, a roundtrip weekend flight to Vancouver for under $200 with taxes is an awesome price all on it's own.
Here's how to book the cheap GoJumpOn flights...
1. Go to http://www.gojumpon.com/flights/35
The price will first show up as $309.
2. Click the 'Book It' button
3. Choose the number of passengers and hit next
4. Fill in the passenger names, etc. At the bottom of this form, enter YYCDEALS in the 'Flight Promo Code' box.
Hit 'Next'
5. Choose your seats. Hit 'Next'
6. On the 'Book It' page it should now show $199 beside the total ticket cost...
If it does not show $199, and you entered the YYCDEALS promo code, the 20 cheap seats may unfortunately have already been snapped up.
Some things to note..
- The promo code only applies to 1 passenger on each booking. If you're sneaky, you could use the promo code multiple times by booking one passenger at a time. There is risk involved if you happen to be the 20th person to use the promo code and the cheap flights run out before you are able to book the second passenger.
- To test and see whether the $199 flights are still available, you could quickly enter fake info into Step 4 from above. (Make sure to start over and enter legitimate info when you make your real booking though!)
- GoJumpOn says: 'There are no other discounts available with this deal (ie other member credits / Jump Code discounts will not be applied to reduce this price). As always, our flights go only if we reach the Jumping Point. For this flight we've sold 39 seats and need to sell another 86 before it's a Go (125 needed)' This flight is timed to allow people to take in the Grey Cup on Sunday Nov 30th. - If you're worried about finding an inexpensive place to stay in Vancouver during the Grey Cup, AirBNB currently shows 541 places available in Vancouver under $100/night for Nov 28-30 for 2 people. 73 of those places are under $50/night.
