Delta is showing a few flights during the dry season from Calgary to Liberia, Costa Rica for $401 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights have 1 stop each way, in Los Angeles. The stop on the way there is a pretty long one (7 hours).
Most flights from Calgary to Costa Rica have been really expensive this year. If you have a look on Google Flights you'll see that the majority of flights are a minimum of $600-$800 roundtrip.
