An Air Transat flight from Calgary to Frankfurt just dropped to $830 after tax, roundtrip, October 5th to 13th. Non-stop both ways.

It's not especially amazing for a fall flight to Germany to be sub-$1000, at least not in years past. But this year, Europe has been really expensive, and this is the first summer or fall fare to appear at this price.
