Delta seems to be showing cheap flights to some places over Christmas that are normally fairly expensive to fly to (at any time of year).
Places like...
Kansas City, Kansas
- $382 roundtrip after tax. December 23 to 30 for example, but pretty much any other date really.
Little Rock, Arkansas
- $385 roundtrip after tax. December 21 to 29 for example.
Tulsa, Oklahoma
- $385 roundtrip after tax. December 22 to 30 for example.
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
- Same as above.
Omaha, Nebraska
- $377 roundtrip after tax. December 22 to 28 for example.
Fargo, North Dakota
- $382 roundtrip after tax. Plenty of dates around Christmas.
It seems to be the result of an unpublished fare war to midwest destinations between Delta, United and Air Canada, which are all showing abnormally cheaper fares throughout the year.
Fares to these 'second tier' cities usually hover around $500-$600 roundtrip after tax, even when it's not Christmas.
