There's a direct flight from Calgary to Liberia, Costa Rica from December 18-26 for $687 roundtrip after tax.
It's notable because around $650-$700 is about as cheap as flights get to Costa Rica from Calgary, and the fact that it's over Christmas makes it even more noteworthy. I find that flights over Christmas are usually about 1.5X as much as the rest of the year.
