Porter has dropped the price of their flights from Calgary to Ottawa down to $217 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights are nonstop both ways.
You can add carry-on for an extra $84 CAD roundtrip for a more fair comparison against WestJet.
This deal also works in reverse. Ottawa to Calgary is available for a similar roundtrip price if you know someone that would like to come visit you.
The most interesting dates are the July and August dates (peak summer travel), and the dates over Christmas!
Porter seems to be trying to get a leg up on WestJet by filling their planes early for Christmas travel. WestJet is currently charging $650-$900+ roundtrip for Christmas dates.
Porter is known for generally being the best airline to fly domestic here in Canada. Free beer, wine, and in-flight wi-fi. And no middle seats.
Update @ 4:30 PM MST - It looks like these have sold out. The cheapest prices now seem to be $550 to $700 roundtrip.
