Calgary to Costa Rica - $422 to $492 CAD roundtrip including taxes | non-stop flights

WestJet has dropped the price of their late October, early November flights from Calgary to Costa Rica down to $492 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights are non-stop both ways.
However, to get this price, you do need to book 2 separate one way flights, which can be risky.

1. Try this Google Flights search...

Click on the departure date box to open up the calendar view and browse for cheap date combinations.

2. Select your flights in Google Flights and click through to the WestJet website.
Google Flights will instruct you on how to book the 2 separate one way flights.
Be sure both flights are actually available before you book either flight.

What's the risk of booking two one way flights instead of a regular roundtrip?
Sometimes WestJet prices their one way flights from the U.S. and other countries outside of Canada in $USD for an unusually low price. So even if you buy it in $USD, it works out to be cheaper than if you had booked it in $CAD.
But the risk is, if you buy the one way flight to get down there in $CAD, in the mean time, the one way flight home in $USD could change in price or sell out before you can book it.
But NOTE: WestJet will allow you to cancel your flights within 24 hours of booking, free of charge, if for some reason you were only able to book one flight, and not the other.
