You can find some really interesting prices if you fly from Calgary to Hong Kong, and then return home from Beijing, China.

How to find and book these flights
1. Try this Google Flights search...
Google Flights: Calgary to Hong Kong
Click on the departure date box to open up the calendar view and browse for cheap date combinations. Look for the dates that are $843 to $878 CAD roundtrip.
2. Go to FlightHub
Click on 'Multi-City'
Search for a flight like this:
Calgary to Hong Kong (HKG)
Beijing, China (PEK) to Calgary
Use the same dates you found on Google Flights for a regular roundtrip flight to Hong Kong.
After you run your search on FlightHub, try selecting '1 Stop' only flights on the left hand side (you may need to scroll down a bit).
Your search should now show a 1-stop flight for $586 CAD roundtrip including taxes, like this one...

You can also find flights from Calgary to Shanghai, and then Beijing to Calgary for $620 CAD roundtrip including taxes. Try similar dates.
Or just normal roundtrip flights from Calgary to Shanghai or Beijing for $616 to $657 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
