Air Canada Rouge has dropped the price of their non-stop flights in January and February 2018 from Calgary to Maui, Hawaii down to $452 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
It's easy to forget how competitive fares from Canada to Hawaii have become in the last few years.
For comparison, here are the lowest prices available from the major West Coast U.S. cities to Maui in January and February...
Oakland - $558 CAD roundtrip on Hawaiian
San Francisco - $634 CAD roundtrip on Hawaiian
San Diego - $659 CAD roundtrip on Alaska
Seattle - $710 CAD roundtrip on Hawaiian, Delta, or Alaska
Portland - $748 CAD roundtrip on Hawaiian
Los Angeles - $759 CAD roundtrip Hawaiian, Delta, or United Airlines

How to find and book this deal
1. Go to Flighthub or the Air Canada website.
2. Search for a flight from Calgary to Kahului, United States - Kahului (OGG)
3. Use one of the following date combinations:
DEPARTURE dates
Jan 10, 17, 24, 31
Feb 7
RETURN dates
Jan 17, 24, 31
Feb 7, 14
NOTE: Once your Flighthub search completes, you may need to click on 'non-stop' on the left hand side.
You can also try Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday dates in January and February. Most of these dates will work out to $472 to $492 CAD roundtrip.

Update 9/27 - WestJet is showing a few non-stop flights in December 2017 from Calgary to Maui, Hawaii for $465 CAD roundtrip including taxes
1. Go to Priceline
2. Search for a flight from Calgary to Kahului, United States (OGG)
Try one of the following date combinations:
Dec 11 to Dec 21, 24
3. On Priceline, the price will show up as $368 USD roundtrip including taxes. Priceline is *always* in $USD.
This will work out to $465 CAD roundtrip when booked using a Canadian credit card, and including the typical credit card foreign exchange fee.

1. Go to Priceline
2. Search for a flight from Calgary to Kahului, HI (OGG)
- Try one of the following date combinations:
Mar 5 to Mar 20
Mar 12 to Mar 20
- On Priceline, the price will show up as $351 USD roundtrip including taxes. Priceline is *always* in $USD.
This will work out to $447 CAD roundtrip when booked using a Canadian credit card, and including the typical credit card foreign exchange fee.
