Qantas has once again dropped the price of their flights from Calgary to cities in Australia, this time down to between $760 and $775 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
This is not as low as back in November, when Qantas dropped them to $651 roundtrip, but it's still an amazing price for Australia, on an excellent airline (ranked #11 in the world in 2018).
You can also turn these into 2-in-1 trips and visit both Australia and San Francisco (or Los Angeles), for about the same price.
You can also fly into one Australian city, but home from another, for about the same price.

1. Try a Google Flights search like this one...

^^^ look for the dates that are $840 to $865 roundtrip in late February, March, April, May, November 2019
Google Flights: Calgary to Sydney, Australia (SYD)
^^^ look for the dates that are $857 roundtrip in late February, March, April, May 2019

2. In Google Flights, click on the departure date box to open up the calendar view and browse for cheap date combinations
3. Go to Skyscanner or Flighthub
- search for a flight from Calgary (YYC) to...
Melbourne (MEL)
or

or
Brisbane (BNE)
- use the same dates you found on Google Flights
- the price on Skyscanner or Flighthub will usually be around $75 to $100 cheaper than what you see on Google Flights.
