WestJet is showing flights that make it possible to fly from Calgary to Montreal and back for only $303 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
But to do this, you need to purchase 2 separate flights.

How to find and book this deal
1. First we need to find a normal one-way flight from Calgary to Montreal....
Google Flights: Calgary to Montreal
- click on the departure date box to open up the calendar view and browse for cheap date combinations
- look for the dates that are $208 CAD with Air Transat
examples:
May 9, 22, 23, 30
Jun 1, 5, 19, 20, 22
Sep 5, 7, 11, 12, 14, 18, 19, 21, 25, 26, 28
Oct - lots of dates
2. Next, for a very cheap flight home from Montreal ($95 CAD), we get a little more creative.
Try a Google Flights search like this one...
Google Flights: Montreal to Calgary
- You'll notice these are WestJet flights where you fly from Montreal to Calgary, and then Calgary to Quebec City (all on the same day), for a total of only $95 !
*But*, we will only be using the Montreal to Calgary portion of this flight, and skipping out on the Calgary to Quebec City leg.
When you pair this $95 WestJet flight with the $208 Air Transat flight above, you can fly non-stop from Calgary to Montreal and back for a total of $303 CAD roundtrip.
To find these $95 flights, start with the Google Flights search above, and try different dates in May, June, September, and October. I've seen some cheap ones in August as well.
Not all dates will work. Try starting with Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday dates for the lowest prices. There's quite a few in the range of $95 to $127.
REMEMBER: The flights need to be on the same day for this to work.
