Flair Air is showing cheap nonstop flights from Calgary to Puerto Vallarta or Cancun, Mexico for winter 2024 travel.
Prices start at $273 roundtrip including taxes (base fare only). The more realistic price is $373 roundtrip with a piece of carry-on luggage.
Booking with Flair comes with risk. They've been known to drop routes without warning. If a flight is cancelled or delayed they usually don't have an alternative way of getting you to your destination.
Many routes only have flights 2-3 times a week (although their flights to Puerto Vallarta are daily). This tends to become a larger risk during winter when weather can affect the operations of all airlines.
But there's no question Flair provides some much needed competition as WestJet's cheapest nonstop flights to Puerto Vallarta or Cancun in March are currently priced between $499 and $676 roundtrip.
Recently, Flair has been trying to highlight the fact that they had no cancelled flights in November.
Still, in the last quarter (July to September 2023), Flair had about twice as many complaints per 100 flights relative to WestJet or Air Canada.

^^ Try a departure date of: Jan 25, 28 or Feb 22, 27, 29 or Mar 3, 5, 7, 10
2. Click on the departure date box to open up the calendar view and browse for cheap date combinations.
- Adjust the trip length at the bottom.
- Look for the dates that are $273 roundtrip or less.
3. Go to Kayak or Skyscanner or FlightHub
- Try the same destination and dates you found on Google Flights.
