Calgary to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic - $269 roundtrip after tax
14
January
Another super cheap price from Air Canada Vacations, this time to the Dominican Republic.
Try January 25 to February 1 on https://www.AirCanadaVacations.com (search for Flights only)
This is what you'll see:
Yep, direct each way, and less than it costs to fly to Vancouver these days, despite the fact that Punta Cana is nearly 8 times as far!
So, if I were wanting to take advantage of this incredibly cheap flight, where would I stay? I've posted an idea for that in the forum post:

Neither the Punta Cana or Montego Bay flights show up on the AC website as being teh same as your information. Both are hundreds of dollars more.
Hi Anonymous,
The Montego Bay deal was actually sold out about an hour after I posted it. The Punta Cana one was around a little longer, but the January 25 to Feb 1 one did sell out. I see that Jan 18-25 is still available, but that flight is leaving tomorrow!
The discussion on the forums for each deal can often be the best way to keep up the latest development for each deal, whether it's sold out or not, or if there's alternate dates.
There's a few factors at play here:
1) The truly great travel deals move at lightning speed these days. Sometimes they hang around for a day or two, but more often than not it seems like their lifespan can be measured in hours now.
2) This blog is getting somewhat popular now so when I do post a deal that's extremely good, like the Jamaica/Dominican ones were, they may not last long.
