Air New Zealand has dropped the price of their flights from Calgary to Rarotonga, Cook Islands in the south Pacific down to $628 CAD roundtrip including taxes!
This is a new record for the cheapest flights from Calgary to the Cook Islands.
The price drop is a part of Air New Zealand's Cyber Monday sale to New Zealand, Australia, and the Cook Islands.
But Expedia seems to be showing them for far less than what the Air New Zealand website is showing.
The Cyber Monday prices to New Zealand and Australia are pretty similar to what have been available at various other times throughout the year and are not as exciting.
According to the CDC website, the Cook Islands do not have the Zika virus.

Just booked 4 tickets for the family July 2018 for $708 each incl tax - great deal, thanks Chris ! We weren't planning anywhere this year but this deal was too good to pass up.

Just as a heads up, we hate being stranded from missing short connectors (2 hours on AC), so I managed to book a multi-city on Expedia leaving YYC on Aug 31 with WJA to LAX, and the LAX-RAR leg the following day for the same price. Going home to YYC the layover is 4 hours so that is ample time. Benefits of this are extra day of play in SoCal and you wont miss the connection.
(continued from above) Drawbacks include one charge for baggage for that first trip, and obvious spending of more money on car/hotel/activities in LAX area.
