There are some pretty crazy prices showing from Calgary to a few Southeast Asia hub cities on Delta at the moment.
The cheapest verified prices I've seen so far are...
(roundtrip, including taxes)
Calgary to Singapore (SIN) - $716 CAD
(this is a new record for the cheapest flight I've ever seen from Calgary to Singapore, shattering the old record, set in 2011, by nearly $200)
Calgary to Manila, Philippines (MNL) - $723 CAD
(this is also a new record, shattering the old record from 2011 by $170)
Calgary to Bangkok, Thailand (BKK) - $825 CAD
(also a new record, besting the $896 flights that showed up in 2011)
How to find and book these flights...
1. Start by searching with Google Flights Explore. Set the destination as 'Southeast Asia' or to one of the three cities listed above (Singapore, Manila, or Bangkok)
Also be sure to set the Trip Length to 10-14 days.
Note that Google Flights Explore displays prices in $USD.
2. Look for cheap date combinations. Write them down.
3. Take those date combinations and the destination involved and enter them into Kayak.
From Kayak, hit the Select button to take you to a place where they can be booked. So far I've had the best luck with clicking through from Kayak to the Delta Airlines website.
You can also try just searching directly on Delta.com, but it's usually easier to use Kayak to play around with date combinations and flight times.
Either way, after you've searched on Delta's site, the verified price will show in the bottom right corner...
If the price is different, it means the flight has sold out at that price. You may want to try different date combinations until it's been determined that the deal is dead.
If you have trouble seeing the cheaper prices on Kayak, try the American version of Kayak. The prices will be listed in $USD, but when you click through from Kayak to Delta, the price will convert to $CAD.
This is not an advertised sale, so it's impossible to say how long it will be around. Typically, I find that Delta's unadvertised price drops go back up within 24 hours.

Wow - I booked an open jaws YYC-PEK, MNL-YYC with Delta about a month ago and there was NOTHING like this. Go to MNL for the price of an iPad!

Found United is matching.. booked Bangkok April 30th-June 1st for 820 PP
Booked Singapore from Edmonton - Jan 21 to Mar 11 - Price dropped more since this deal was originally posted. I paid only $683 Canadian!!!
I got a flight to Bangkok in April directly from ANA for $740, those prices seem to hold up until May aswell it seems.
To those you posted about getting cheap tickets for so and so trip, please post where you found them and for which dates. That would be a lot more helpful. Thanks.
