Calgary to Toronto or Halifax - $360 / $407 CAD roundtrip including taxes | August travel

WestJet is showing some great prices from Calgary to Toronto and Halifax, Nova Scotia in August for $360 and $407 CAD roundtrip including taxes, respectively.
The flights to Toronto are 30% below the typical best price from Calgary.
The flights to Halifax are 35% below the typical best price from Calgary.
It's very rare to see well priced flights within Canada for July or August travel.
My guess is that this might be a defensive move from WestJet, in preparation for New Leaf's re-launch this summer. The flights to Halifax have 1 stop in Hamilton, and I don't think that's a coincidence.
