May Long Weekend All Inclusive Package: Royal Decameron - $677/person after tax
26
April
Update: 4/29 - Looks like June 9 and June 16 departures have now dropped to $650/person after tax!
-------
Update: 4/27 - This was a pretty popular one, the $677 price looks to be sold out, and it's currently showing as $878/person. Sometimes the Canadian tour operators release more seats at the cheaper price, but only time will tell. At $878 it's still the best all inclusive deal out there, but not as amazing as it was previously of course.
-------
It's been a while since an all inclusive package to a nice resort has dropped low enough to be blog-post worthy.
The Royal Decameron in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico just dropped to $677/person after tax for departure on May 19.
That's for flight, hotel (7 nights), food, drinks, everything.
Here's a direct link to this package.

Very nice deal!
I don't think I could get a week off work, I wish they had something for 3-4 nights.
It's very rare to see a good deal on a 3-4 night all inclusive package from Calgary.
The reason being, about the only destination that the Canadian tour operators offer 3-4 night all inclusive packages to is the Bahamas, and they're always very pricey.
For all other destinations, 1 week packages are *by far* the most prevalent type of package available, and also the most likely to experience price drops.
Why is it advertised 677 but the link is well over 1000 with tax? Is it some scam?
Yes Jason, I've been tirelessly running this blog for over a year helping thousands of Canadians find the best deals possible just so that one day I could post a deal that was in fact a scam.
</sarcasm>
The reality is not quite as exciting. In the world of travel, when seats sell out at a certain price, they tend to go up in price.
And with this blog being somewhat popular, and with this particular deal being *very* popular, I think it might be safe to say that the $677 price has sold out since being posted yesterday.
I do find though that sometimes a tour operator will release more seats at the cheaper price, we'll have to wait and see.
Damn, was ready to buy this yesterday, but had to check with my boss for time off. =( Time to find something else.
Any suggestions. I'm open to anything! Leaving May18th ish to may 28th.
Kaitlyn: Looks like it's gone back down to $878/person after tax.
At that price it's still the best deal out there, just not as amazing as it was earlier.
Sigh, oh well. Another time, and I won't hesitate
Just to note, for anyone else that might be looking, the cheapest departure dates are currently May 5, 12, and 14. Along with June 2, 9, 16. They're all between $728-$760/person after tax at the moment.
