Update 12/28 - Non-stop flights from Calgary to Los Angeles, California are available again in May and June 2017 for $265 CAD roundtrip including taxes, but this time through WestJet.

Update 7/10 - There are some last minute, non-stop, July flights from Calgary to Los Angeles on Air Canada for $298 CAD roundtrip including taxes
Vision Travel
They were part of a group booking, and they ended up needing to switch some people to different dates, leaving 9 seats available.
The flights are for Friday, July 14 to Friday, July 21. They are evening flights. They are non-stop both ways.
As you can see in this blog post, July flights were a bit cheaper than this at one point back near the beginning of the year, when they hit $261 CAD roundtrip. This was the lowest they reached all year.
But $298 is cheaper than any other current roundtrip, non-stop Calgary - Los Angeles flights, on any date combination throughout the year. Last minute summer prices are currently going for $500 to $750 CAD roundtrip.
