4 days ago I reported that the June 22-30 flight from Calgary to Munich, Germany had dropped to $748 roundtrip after tax. That was a great price...at the time.
It's just dropped another 20%, down to $599 roundtrip after tax.
Try June 22 to 30 on www.airtransat.ca and this is what you'll see...

The price has gone from being simply amazing, to absolutely incredible.
I know I've already mentioned how much I like Munich, but I'll say it again, it's such a great city. There's something for everyone, from having one of the nicest public squares in Europe to the Nymphenburg Palace to the BMW Museum to the famous Hofbrauhaus (beer hall) to... Actually, forget that I told you about this deal, I'm going to take it myself.

Condor's return to YYC this summer could be very good news indeed for Calgarians. We've all seen the cheap flights to London or Manchester that come up every now and then, thanks to Air Transat, but it's nice to see another no-frills player in the mix to shake things up a bit to other cities. It could open up the possibility of some decent July/August prices to Europe as well.
