WestJet has dropped the price of a few of their December flights from Calgary to Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo, Mexico down to between $401 and $455 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights are nonstop both ways.
Ixtapa is a highly developed resort area, while Zihuatanejo is more of a traditional fishing village / beach town.
Nonstop flights to ZIH are typically very expensive. All of WestJet's flights between January and March are currently priced between $1000 and $2000 roundtrip.
UPDATE - A few April 2024 dates are available for $468 roundtrip.
