Hainan Airlines has dropped the price of their flights from Calgary to Bangkok, Thailand down to $860 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights have 1 stop each way.
This one is interesting because Hainan Airlines is one of the highest rated airlines in the world, with a very rare 5-star rating.
And here they are offering a price that's about 25% below the typical cheapest roundtrip prices, with *any* airline.
In the world of airfares, there are certainly times where it's possible to get more than what you pay for.
Calgary to Beijing, China is also available on Hainan for $720 CAD roundtrip including taxes, and the flights are non-stop. Shanghai is $20 more (with 1 stop).

2. Go to Momondo.
Search for a flight from Calgary to Bangkok (BKK)
Use the same dates as your Google Flights search.
3. Click through from Momondo to the booking site showing the cheap price.

UPDATE 10/4 - Flight Centre is offering a promotion for $100 CAD off of any roundtrip flight from Calgary to certain international destinations, and Bangkok is one of them. This brings the price down to $777 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
There are no blackout dates. Any airline is valid.
However, to international destinations, you must spend a minimum of $750 per person total on the trip's booking. These flights would qualify.
The promotion expires on Oct 10, 2016.
When the promotion is used in conjunction with a route that is already at historically low levels, it can be a really great deal.
How to find and book this deal
1. Start with a Google Flights search like this one:

2. Click on the departure date box to open up the calendar view and try other dates. Look for the date combinations that are currently showing as $878 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
NOTE: Some of the date combinations may seem like they are way higher on Google Flights as you are browsing. But try clicking directly on various Tuesday and Saturday departure dates in January, February, or March, and the $878 prices should appear.
3. Go to the Flight Centre website and try searching for the same destination and dates that you found on Google Flights.
The price should show up as $877 CAD roundtrip on Flight Centre.
4. When you call Flight Centre to book, they will subtract $100 from the price showing on their website.
The number to call is 1-877-967-5302.
Calling in, or visiting a Flight Centre location, is the only way to book and receive the $100 discount.
