Air Canada has dropped the price of their flights from Calgary to Beijing and Shanghai, China down to between $509 and $529 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights have 1 stop each way, in Vancouver.
You can also fly from Calgary to Beijing, and then back home from Shanghai to Calgary, for $499 CAD roundtrip (see instructions below).
NOTE: Canadians require a visa to visit China (there are exceptions but research them carefully).
