Calgary to Shanghai, China - $500 CAD roundtrip including taxes | new record

Shanghai, China

China Eastern has dropped the price of their flights from Calgary to Shanghai, China down to $500 CAD roundtrip including taxes.

The flights have 1 stop each way, in Vancouver.

Air Canada has had 1-stop flights from Calgary to Shanghai for $565 CAD roundtrip for quite a while now, on a whole lot more dates.

But hey, a record-setting price has to be noted!

It's amazing how a $500 roundtrip flight to *China* hardly seems that unusual anymore. It wasn't all that long ago (2013) that anything under $900 CAD was an incredible and rare price for a roundtrip flight from Calgary to China. In 2015/2016 the prices dropped drastically.
