Calgary to Belize - $395 CAD roundtrip including taxes | winter travel
6
May
United Airlines is showing flights in January and February 2019 from Calgary to Belize for $395 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights have 1 stop each way, in Houston, for 1-3 hours.
The airlines have been *really* reluctant to offer great prices on fast flights from Calgary to Central America for a very long time now.
They've only had marginally decent prices on flights with overnight layovers, and/or 2 stops each way.
So it's nice to finally see some faster, 1 stop flights for a very low price.

Is it possible to find great deals going south that dont stop in the states as my wife cant stop over there ? I love this site and have booked several times with your suggestions but noticed lately alot of offers have us connections
Thanks
Thanks Cory,
Unfortunately, this year so far, United has been about the only one offering good deals heading down south.
Air Canada, WestJet, Sunwing, and Air Transat have all been reluctant to drop their prices. Quite the opposite really, they've been steadily increasing them since the end of 2017.
I saw an article yesterday with the WestJet CEO - who said they've had to increase most of their prices 3 times since the end of 2017. Other airlines have likely had to do the same.
It's not just to destinations down south though. To pretty much everywhere in the world, airfares have been getting more expensive since the beginning of 2018.
