Aeromexico has dropped the price of their June and early July flights from Calgary to Lima, Peru down to $518 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights have either an 11 or 17 hour layover in Mexico City on the way there, and 5 hours on the way home.
Aeromexico's return to Calgary, with the first flights departing in June, is good news for prices to Central and South America, but their flights often have really long layovers in Mexico City on either the way down, or the way back, or both.

Medellin, Colombia (MDE) -- $543 CAD roundtrip
.. on similar dates. But again, with long layovers in Mexico City.

Update 3/22 - Calgary to Lima, Peru flights for $519 to $554 CAD roundtrip including taxes have returned today. The flights have an all day layover in Mexico City on the way there.
You can also usually find similarly priced flights to Quito, Ecuador (UIO) or Medellin, Colombia (MDE) or Bogota, Colombia (BOG) on the same dates.
Also be aware that Peru is currently experiencing some terrible floods.

Unfortunately prices have now returned to normal ($1100+).
I will definitely let everyone know if they return. It wouldn't be overly surprising to see these again, based on what I've seen Aeromexico do from other Canadian cities (Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal) in the past. Every now and then they significantly drop their prices for a short period of time.
Booked 5 to Lima - haven't been back since 2008. Maybe Inca trail with the kiddies?? Fantastic price point! Good job again Chris!
Just Booked Bogota over the Sept long Weekend
Fri 1 Sept 23:50 to Sun Sept 17 arr 22:30 for
CAN $ 610.31.
Could have got $518, but paid $96 extra to extend the MEX stopover from 12 hours to 36 hours.

Hello, is it safe to book with the floods going on right now? What is everything thing about that?
Floods only impacting the north - Huaraz area. we'll likely stay in Cotahuasi/Cusco/Salkantay areas
Looks like prices have gone back up - any chance you think they'll drop again for this time frame (late August/early September)?
