There are also flights from Calgary to Bogota, Colombia in June 2019 for $538 CAD roundtrip.
The flights have 1 stop in Mexico City each way, for 2 to 5 hours.

I am so happy that Aeromexico is returning to Calgary, this has made my day and feels like an early Christmas present!
I guess Aeromexico thought they could move back in after WestJet decided to stop flying from Calgary to Mexico City.
It's a seasonal route now (May 31 to September 2nd).
I thought that to, but the two publications I saw on it say Sept 2019. Only seen two and both are spanish publications, maybe a typo that carried through. They had it before Westjet, and I prefer AM over WJ. Said its until Sept 2019 and only Fri-Sat-Sun-Mon departures.
Sorry I have been looking at this route a lot the past 2 years now.
They're showing an announcement about the new seasonal route on the home page of the Canadian version of the Aeromexico website:

And the non-stop flights from Calgary to Mexico City were showing up on Google Flights earlier this morning, but at the moment they've disappeared.
And they don't seem to be bookable yet on the Aeromexico website.
Just called Aeromexico. They said there was no YYC-MEX direct flights available. Something about the route being cancelled.

Ryan: Just to let you know that the Calgary - Mexico City flights are showing up on Google Flights again, and this time they are bookable.
$449 CAD roundtrip for travel on dates between May 31 and September 2.
