Related to their recent price drops to South America, Aeromexico has also dropped the prices of their flights from Calgary to various destinations in Central America.
The price drop to Central America that jumps out at me the most involves Aeromexico's flights from Calgary to Managua, Nicaragua (MGA) for $439 CAD roundtrip including taxes .
Sometimes Aeromexico's flights from Calgary to Central America have long (or really long) layovers in Mexico City, but these flights have a more ideal 2-3 hour layover each way, and are about as fast as Calgary - Nicaragua can be done.
They are also about 35% cheaper than the typical best roundtrip prices from Calgary to Nicaragua.
If that's not enough, there's even Friday departure dates and Monday return dates. Pretty ideal for minimizing the number of vacation days from work.
And to top it off, there are dry season dates available.

Dry season is from December to April.
November is the transition month from wet to dry.

Update 5/27 - After disappearing briefly, these have returned again today, and they're even a little cheaper now. Calgary to Managua, Nicaragua is available for $416 CAD roundtrip including taxes.

Thanks for the tip. I was able to do an open jaw draw from YYC to MEX and LIM to MEX to YYC for $439 CAD in August/September. Surprisingly, there doesn't seem to be a fare increase for doing open jaw trips on the Aeromexico website.
It is worth noting that there is a $150 USD no show fee for these tickets.

I only ever list prices in Canadian dollars. And I only ever list the full price, including all taxes and fees.
