Calgary to Boston - $455 roundtrip after taxes - throughout 2013

Right now flights to Boston are the cheapest I've ever seen. Boston *never* seems to go on sale, and usually hovers around $600 roundtrip after taxes at it's cheapest. The only Eastern U.S. city that usually ever goes on sale is New York.
It seems to be Air Canada that's leading the way with the cheaper flights. The other surprise is that the fare is currently available on dates throughout 2013, even for peak summer travel.
The easiest way to find them is probably through this search on Google Flights Explorer.
Flights Explorer only seems to show fares up to July 2013 though. If you want to go beyond that, try the regular Google Flights tool, which is a little different.
And when you click through to Air Canada, the price verifies at $455 roundtrip after taxes.

While I do watch for interesting fares out of Montana, the truth is that it's pretty rare to see one that's worth the drive. Allegiant Air has cheap flights to Vegas, but on the major airlines, prices from Montana aren't usually significantly better to warrant the 5 hour drive from Calgary. We're not like Toronto where we can hop across the border to Buffalo. Flying out of the U.S. for us is a significant investment of time.

UPDATE: September 9th - Take this blog post, and substitute the city of New York for Philadelphia (PHL) and Charlotte (CLT) on United. They've dropped their prices to those cities down to about $340 roundtrip after taxes, across the board, throughout 2011 and 2012.
