Calgary to El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Colombia or Costa Rica - $376 to $468 CAD roundtrip including taxes

Costa Rica

American Airlines has dropped the price of their flights from Calgary to El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Colombia and Costa Rica down to between $376 and $468 CAD roundtrip including taxes.

The flights have 2 stops each way, in Dallas and Miami.

El Salvador, Guatemala, and Nicaragua have re-opened for Canadian tourists (a negative PCR test result from up to 72 hours before departure is required for entry).

Colombia has re-opened for Canadian tourists (a negative test result is not required for entry).

Costa Rica has re-opened for Canadian tourists. A negative PCR test result is not required for entry, although Costa Rica does require special insurance. Click here for more details.

Upon return to Canada, these flights would qualify for the test program at Calgary (YYC) that allows you to reduce the quarantine on Canada's side down to 2-3 days.

The test program is currently scheduled to operate until at least May 3rd, 2021.

Google Flights: Calgary to Managua, Nicaragua -- $403 roundtrip

Google Flights: Calgary to Medellin, Colombia -- $438 roundtrip

Google Flights: Calgary to San Jose, Costa Rica -- $468 roundtrip


- click on the departure date box to open up the calendar view and browse for cheap date combinations

- look for the dates that are between $403 and $468 roundtrip

    Thank you so much for posting!… I did book this deal for early April for 2.5 weeks! - if anyone is curious it looks like we are quoted out $775 USA currency for the Covid insurance required to gain entrance to the country
